Special trains to clear extra rush for Pongal
Southern Railway (SR) has announced special trains to Tirunelveli from Egmore to clear extra rush of traffic during Pongal and Republic Day.

Special fare train no: 06001 will leave Chennai Egmore at 9.50 pm on January on 5 and 19 and reach Tirunelveli at 10.50 am the next day. Train no: 06002 running in the opposition direction will start from Tirunelveli at 3 pm on January 7 and reach Chennai Egmore at 3.30 am the next day.
Suvidha special train no: 82605 will leave Chennai Egmore at 9.50 pm on January 11 and 13 and reach Tirunelveli at 10.50 am the next day. Train no: 82606 will leave Tirunelveli at 6.25pm on January 16 and reach Chennai Egmore at 5.35 am the next day.
Train no: 82601 will leave Chennai Egmore at 9.50 pm on January 12 and reach Tirunelveli at 10.50 am the next day.
Train no: 82602 will start from Tirunelveli at 3 pm on January 28 and reach Chennai Egmore at 3.30 am the next day. Special fare train no: 06003 will leave Chennai Egmore at 9.50 pm on January 16 and reach Tirunelveli at 10.50 am the next day. Train No.82603 will leave Chennai Egmore at 9.50 pm on January 25 and reach Tirunelveli at 10.50 am the next day.
Train no: 06004 will leave Tirunelveli at 1.30 pm on January 12 and reach Chennai Egmore at 3.30 am the next day.
