Minister Sellur Raju echoes TTV’s views
Cooperative Minister Sellur K Raju echoed TTV Dinakaran’s views at Madurai. He became the first Minister to launch an attack on the AIADMK leadership stating that proximity with the BJP had proved disastrous since minorities and anti-saffron constituents have rejected the party in the RK Nagar bypoll.

Amid claims by Dinakaran’s supporters that he had the support of at least 30 more MLAs in the ruling party, Cooperative Minister Raju’s open attack on the leadership assumes significance.
He said people, especially minorities and anti-saffron voters, had rejected the ruling AIADMK for being close to the BJP regime.
On the contrary, Dinakaran through his criticisms against the Centre and the saffron party won their support.
He added that party should change its policy on BJP ties if it wanted to gain people’s support in the state.
It is yet to be known, if Dinakaran would set the ball rolling for a showdown in the Assembly in the very first session or put off the fight till the case on the disqualification of 18 MLAs is decided by the Madras High Court.
After the discussion on Governor’s address, the Assembly will have to pass the motion thanking Governor’s address and the government needed a working majority for it. However, the government would not fall if the motion falls through on the floor.
