Alliance to stay even after RK Nagar: Stalin
Indicating the possibility of a strong alliance with minor parties, DMK working president and Leader of Opposition MK Stalin said on Monday the party would remain united with alliance partners even after the RK Nagar by-election.

Participating in the first public meeting held in the constituency along with poll partners, Stalin said, “We earlier had differences, but we are united now. This is a beginning and the alliance has given a lot of hope for DMK winning not only in RK Nagar, but in the state,” he said.
Training his guns on the EPS-OPS combo while ignoring sidelined leader Dinakaran, Stalin said the ruling party had lost its right to govern and it was time to remove them. Referring to AIADMK’s campaign, he said: “The opposite camp has been set up by BJP. It’s time to remove it.” Accusing Chief Minister Palaniswami and his deputy O Pannerselvam as the culprits behind late CM Jayalalithaa’s death, he said, “They kept saying Amma was stable and there was no need for panic. But, she died on December 5 last year.” Referring to Health Minister C Vijaya Baskar as ‘Gutkha’ minister, he said Baskar was instrumental in instructing Health Secretary J Radhakrishnan to conduct press meets to claim the late chief minister was being given proper treatment.
“As AIADMK got back the Two Leaves symbol, the party hopes it would win elections. But DMK will not bow down,” Stalin said.
