Karur court to hear Naachiyaar movie case on January 11
The hearing on the petition against actor Jyothika and the director Bala on the controversial movie Naachiyaar has been moved to January 11 and the Court would cross examine the members of the public who are added as witnesses in the case, while the petitioners have decided to approach the Tamil Film Producers Council and appeal to remove those controversial scenes from the movie.

The petitioner from Indian Jananayaga Katchi, informed the Karur Judicial Magistrate Court that the director had recently released the Tamil movie Naachiyaar teaser, in which, one of the scenes portrays the female lead openly using abusive language.Â
According to the Information Technology Act, usage of such words is an complete violation and appealed the court to remove those scenes.Â
The court which heard the case earlier postponed the hearing to December 4 and later, the case came up for hearing on Thursday, in which the magistrate stated that a second level hearing with the common public will be held on January 11, 2018.
