IMA joins forces for NABH process
The Indian Medical Association (IMA), New Delhi, on Sunday announced that it was joining hands with Ibhar and CAHO (Consortium of Accredited Healthcare Organisations) to implement processes leading to NABH accreditation for its members.

Patient Safety has been a serious concern worldwide with government and insurance companies mandating a definitive implementation of processes that lead to safe and higher quality of healthcare delivery, IMA Tamil Nadu president Dr Ravishankar told reporters here.Â
He said the state, which implements the Chief Minister’s Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme, has already communicated to all healthcare providers to be certified by the NABH.Â
