CBI conducts search on Mose Ministry home in Tiruchy
CBI officials along with the district administration inspected the Mose Ministry children’s home in Tiruchy on Tuesday and conducted inquiry with the children and employees.

Founder of the home Gideon Jacob (62) was arrested by the CBI in Chennai on October 28, on charges of trafficking women through his orphanage. He was later lodged in the central prison. Later, the CBI sought five days custody that ended on Monday. The agency had reportedly questioned Gideon based on the documents seized from the home. Subsequently, he was taken back to the prison as the five-day custody got over.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday, a seven-member CBI sleuths led by ADSP Vaishnavi along with the district social welfare officer Usha and revenue officials visited the home. The team also conducted inquiry with 82 girls staying in the home and two women employees. During the two-hour-long search process it is said that several important documents were seized.
