Communal forces can’t gain foothold in TN: Thirumavalavan
VCK chief Thol Thirumavalavan claimed here on Friday that Tamil Nadu people would never give space for communal forces to step into the state and his party with like minded political parties would work together.
Karur
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the party’s protest against the BJP for its reported assault against VCK cadre, Thirumavalavan said, in order to condemn the remarks of BJP State president Tamilisai and National Secretary H Raja against VCK cadre, the party members were planning to stage a protest in Karur.
Against arrest of VCK cadre
They were against the arrest of four VCK cadre who came to participate in the protest. They were held as the police suspected that they were trying to barge into the BJP’s executive and state General Body meeting venue. The four cadre were arrested 700 metre ahead of meeting venue. They were taken in the police vehicle and the BJP cadre manhandled them. “This incident raises doubt whether the Tamil Nadu police is under the control of the AIADMK or the BJP. The people are aware of it,” claimed Thirumavalavan.
Meanwhile, he strongly condemned that there is no space for communal forces in Tamil Nadu. The party has been fighting against the communal forces in a democratic way and it is not irritating the Sangh Parivar and BJP. He pointed out that the BJP student wing had damaged the communist flag in Chennai and the party national president Amit Shah had led the protest in front of the Communist Party’s office in Delhi. “As the leader, so his cadre,” Thirumavalavan commented.
Praising actor Kamal Haasan who had expressed openly that Hindu terrorism is on the rise in the state, Thirumavalavan, said that not only in Tamil Nadu, the communal forces have been showing their extremity across the nation.
