CPI, VCK leaders jubilant over MK’s recovery
CPI state secretary R Mutharasan and VCK leader Thol Thirumavalavan on Friday greeted DMK president M Karunanidhi for his recovery to the level of travelling up to the party organ Murasoli office.

Mutharasan said the leader’s recovery would be happy news not only for the DMK cadre but also for the people of the state. His visit to Murasoli office had given hopes that his services for Tamil Nadu would continue.
Thirumavalavan said Karunanidhi’s journey from Gopalapuram to Kodambakkam showed that he is regaining health and added that the DMK leader had tremendous will power, which had led to this recovery. Nearly after 10 months, on Thursday, the DMK president came to the Murasoli office and stayed back on the premises for nearly 20 minutes.
It may be noted that Karunanidhi was hospitalised after his health deteriorated last December. He was advised rest and treatment. He was discharged later, but the treatment was being provided at his residence. The political veteran also underwent a tracheostomy procedure.
