TTV Dinakaran vows to rid party headquarters of ‘betrayers’

A day after Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami celebrated the party’s founding day at the headquarters, Dinakaran, in a statement on Wednesday, fumed at the celebrations and asserted that he along with his supporters would celebrate the next inauguration day at the headquarters with the identity of the AIADMK. 

He said a selfish group had occupied the headquarters and the events organised by them would cause anguish to crores of cadre. He vowed to defeat the enemies in the path shown by ‘Amma’ and through the guidance of party leader VK Sasikala. 

Dinakaran said that this year he would hoist the party flag in front of the party founder MGR’s residence at Ramavaram on October 24 and garland the statue of the founder at MGR Deaf and Dumb school. He would also provide a feast, besides distributing uniforms to the students. 

Recalling, former Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa’s assertion that the party would function for the people for centuries after her, he appealed to the cadre to work in unity.
