Deepavali special train from Nellai to Chennai on October 15

The train will start from Tirunelveli at 2.45 hrs on October 15 and reach Chennai Egmore at 3.45 am the next day. The train will stop at Vanchi Maniyachchi, Kovilpatti, Satur, Virudhunagar, Madurai, Kodaikkanal Road, Dindigul, Tiruchchirappalli, Vriddhachalam, Villupuram, Chengalpattu, Tambaram and Mambalam. Advance reservation for the above train will commence on October 5.

Train No: 15930/15929 Dibrugarh – Chennai Egmore – Chennai Egmore weekly express trains, which were extended to run up to/ from Tambaram on an experimental basis, will continue to run up to / from Tambaram till November 2. Train No: 15929 Tambaram – Dibrugarh weekly express will leave Tambaram on October 5, 12, 19, 26 & November 2 and reach Dibrugarh on October 8, 15, 22, 29 & November 5 respectively.

Train No: 15629 Chennai Egmore – Guwahati express, scheduled to leave Chennai Egmore on October 9, train no: 22611 Chennai Central – New Jalpaiguri express, scheduled to leave Chennai Central on October 11, train no: 12551 Yesvantpur – Kamakhya (via Chennai Central express, scheduled to leave Yesvantpur on October 14 have been cancelled due to disruption in train services in North-East Frontier Railway.

Train No: 12218 / 12217 Chandigarh – Kochuveli – Chandigarh bi-weekly express trains will be temporarily augmented by one Sleeper Class coach ex Chandigarh from October 4 to November 1 and ex Kochuveli from October 7 to November 4. Train no: 16031 / 16032 Chennai Central – Shrimata Vaishno Devi Katra – Chennai Central Andaman Express trains will be temporarily augmented by one AC 3-tier coach ex Chennai Central from October 5 to November 5 and ex Shrimata Vaishno Devi Katra from October 7 to November 7. 

Train No: 16093 / 16094 Chennai Central – Lucknow Jn. – Chennai Central Express trains will be temporarily augmented by one AC 3-tier coach ex Chennai Central from October 14 to November 14 and ex Lucknow Jn from October 16 to November 16. 

Train No: 16687 / 16688 Mangalore Central – Shrimata Vaishno Devi Katra – Mangalore Central Navyug Express trains will be temporarily augmented by one AC 3-tier coach ex Mangalore Central from October 16 to November 13 and ex Shrimata Vaishno Devi Katra from October 19 to November 16.
