Speaking to reporters in Dindigul, the Minister said that no one except Sasikala and her family members was allowed to meet Jayalalithaa and so the information they had about Jayalalithaa was all given by Sasikala and her family members.

Whatever the ministers and party functionaries informed the media on the treatment, was based on the details given by Sasikala and her family members. “We said what Sasikala family told us,” he added. When asked why he overturned his own statements, he replied that he was a senior Minister and has some responsibility.

“I cannot lie to people repeatedly. I have lied earlier and have even sought apology for the act,” Sreenivasan said. On the video evidences of Jaya’s treatment quoted by TTV Dinakaran, the Minister said that all the evidences would come out when the judicial commission started its investigation.

    Tamilisai hits back at Stalin
Replying to Stalin’s demand for CBI probe, BJP state unit president Tamilisai Soundararajan said, certain things could not be revealed during treatment.
A probe had been ordered by the state and it would demystify the doubts. She said there was no intra-party democracy in the DMK as none from outside the family could occupy the top posts.
    Probe ministers too: Ramadoss
PMK leader S Ramadoss demanded that the ministers too be brought under the probe into the death of former CM J Jayalalithaa besides disqualifying them for dereliction of duty.
“The ministers, including Sreenivasan, had been party to the crime as they had faithfully accepted the postings in exchange for their silence,” he said.
