Applications invited from entrepreneurs of minority community
The district administration of Vellore has invited applications from entrepreneurs belonging to minority communities, including Christians, Muslims, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains and Parsis, to participate in a fund release drive.

Ordered by TAMCO (TN Minorities Corporation), the drive aims to facilitate new ventures, an official release said.Â
Stating that loans could be availed to start new ventures and improve existing units operated by members of the minority communities, the release added that the entrepreneurs could also avail personal loans.Â
To increase awareness and clarify doubts, a one day camp will be held on October 4 at the Mazrul Uloom College in Ambur at 10 am.Â
Participants are expected to get their income and community certificates, Aadhaar card, proof of residence, ration card, details of the project for which they want to avail a loan, the original project report, driving license and other documents.Â
Applications which meet all parameters would be recommended to cooperative banks for the requisite loans, said a release by Vellore collector SA Raman.
