TTV meets supporters in Kodagu resort
Ousted AIADMK deputy general secretary TTV Dinakaran visited the Windflower private resort at Kodagu near Mysuru in Karnataka on Friday in a bid to boost the morale of the 21 MLAs who support him.

He reached the resort in the morning and held discussions with them regarding the disqualification of 18 MLAs and the subsequent court case, party sources revealed. He is expected to return to Chennai by Saturday evening.
The visit comes as a morale booster following 18 of the 21 legislators being disqualified for failing to appear before the Assembly Speaker P Dhanapal to offer personal explanations as to why they met the Governor and handed over individual letters withdrawing support to Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami’s government.
With former ministers P Palaniappan and Senthil Balaji facing court cases and being out of the resort and Cumbum MLA STK Jakkaiyan switching allegiance to the EPS camp, sources revealed that TTV travelled to Kodagu to encourage his flock.
Revealing this to DT Next, Perambur MLA P Vetrivel said, “I stayed behind as I am a local person and I have to coordinate various political issues specially, the cases against the pro-Dinakaran MLAs.” When asked for the reason for Dinakaran’s visit to Kodagu now, he said, “It might also be to tell them to go home.”
