Contest for students on Anna birth anniversary

Organised by Tamil Development Department in the centenary year of the late MG Ramachandran (MGR), the competitions will start at 10 am in all the districts. Topics for the competition would be made known only on the day of the contest. Students who desire to take part should procure permission from heads, assistant heads of their respective educational institutions. 

Winners in each district will be given Rs 10,000 while the second and third runners-up would be given Rs 7,000 and Rs 5, 000. They would also qualify for the state-level competition.
