    The City Police Commissioner office at Madurai witnessed a dramatic moment when two women brought in a man who both claimed was their husband.

    The women demanded that the police book the 31-year-old man for cheating on them.

    Suganya (23), a resident of Madurai, said that she married one Balamurugan on August 21, 2016, at Koodalazhagar Perumal temple and after 15 days they moved to Chennai. She said that her parents had given them all the furniture that they required for their new home and even gold.

    Balamurugan did not have a regular job and three months later, Suganya grew suspicious of his activities and returned to Madurai for nine months after which her relatives convinced her to return to her husband.

    The couple started living together again. But soon, a woman named Sneha and her two-year-old son visited went Balamurugan’s parents and told them that she was his first wife.

    She said that Balamurugan allegedly used to abuse her and so she had returned to her parents. Later, Sneha and Suganya approached the police against Balamurugan.
