Mumbai floods: Trains rescheduled, cancelled
The following trains have been cancelled/rescheduled due to dislocation of train services caused by floods in Mumbai.
Chennai
Train No: 11022 Tirunelveli – Dadar express, scheduled to leave Tirunelveli at 2.55pm on August 31 has been rescheduled to leave Tirunelveli at 11pm on September 1.
Train No: 22149 Ernakulam Jn. – Pune express, scheduled to leave Ernakulam at 00.35 hrs on September 1, has been rescheduled to leave Ernakulam Jn at 11.30 am on September 1. Train No: 12164 Chennai Egmore – Dadar express, scheduled to leave Chennai Egmore at 6.50 am on September 1, has been rescheduled to leave Chennai Egmore at 11am on September 1. Train No: 11014 Coimbatore – Lokmanya Tilak Terminus express, scheduled to leave Coimbatore at 8.55am on September 1, has been rescheduled to leave Coimbatore at 1 pm on September 1.
Train No: 11022 Tirunelveli – Dadar express, scheduled to leave Tirunelveli at 2.55pm on September 1, has been rescheduled to leave Tirunelveli at 1am on September 2. Train No: 12617 Ernakulam Jn. – Hazrat Nizamuddin Mangala Lakshadweep express, scheduled to leave Ernakulam Jn. at 10.45 am on September 1, has been rescheduled to leave Ernakulam Jn at 9.30 pm the same day.
Cancelled: Train No 12503 Bengaluru Cantonment – Kamakhya express, scheduled to leave Bengaluru Cantonment at 10 am, Train No 12509 Bengaluru Cantonment – Guwahati express, scheduled to leave Bengaluru Cantonment at 11.40 pm on September 1 and Train No 12551 Yesvantpur – Kamakhya express, scheduled to leave Yesvantpur at 8.30 am on September 2 have been cancelled.
Train No 16382 Kanniyakumari – Mumbai CSMT express, scheduled to leave Kanniyakumari and Train No 16340 Nagercoil – Mumbai CSMT express, scheduled to leave Nagercoil on September 1 have been fully cancelled.
Due to line block between Ponneri and Elavur in Chennai – Gudur section, changes will be made in train services on September 1 & 2. Train No.12712 Chennai Central – Vijayawada Pinakini Train No.12375 Chennai Central – Asansol expresses will reach Gudur late by 25 and 20 minutes, respectively.
