TTV Dinakaran’s effigy burnt
Protesting against the removal of Municipal Administration Minister SP Velumani by AIADMK (Amma) deputy chief TTV Dinakaran from the party, the minister's followers today burnt the effigy of the side-lined leader at various places here.

They raised slogans against Dinakaran and burnt his effigies at RS Puram, Kuniyamurthur, Kovaipudur and some places in Thondamuthur, the assembly constituency of Velumani, police said.
They also hailed the works carried out by Velumani in his constituency.
