MLAs back at Puducherry resort

It may be noted that following complaints and online booking for weekend for the resort, the management asked the MLAs to vacate and they got accommodation at the Sunway hotel with the intervention of Puducherry AIADMK MLA Bhaskar.

With rooms available at the resort from Sunday evening, the MLAs went back. Nineteen of them are accommodated in the Wind Flower resort while three others, Vetrivel, Thangatamizhselvan and Bose were now in Theni. 

Meanwhile, there is a split in the AIADMK legislators in Puducherry. All the four MLAs, Anbazhagan, Bhaskar, Vayyapuri Manikandan and Asana were supporting General Secretary V K Sasikala after the death of Jayalalithaa. 

However, when CM EPS came to Puducherry enroute to Cuddalore, the MLAs led by Anbazhagan welcomed him at Marappalam here creating an impression among the public that they have crossed to EPS faction.  

In this backdrop, Bhaskar, who is the brother of AIADMK legislature party leader Anbazhagan helped the Dinakaran supportive MLAs to get accommodation here to which Vayyapuri Manikandan said that he does not have any role in it.
