Reason for delay in merger will be out soon, says MP Anwhar Raajhaa

Addressing the media on the sidelines of a Railway function at the Madurai Junction, Anwhar Raajhaa said that it was unfortunate that there were factions in the AIADMK. “But, now all the problems between the two groups have been sorted out and they are ready for merger,” he said.
On the reason for the delay in the merger process, he replied that there were some technical reasons behind it. When prodded further, whether it was the problem in sharing of cabinet seats and party positions, he denied any such dispute and said that the party cadre and functionaries were not after posts and position.
He also said that there were a few other problems in the factions and the people of the state would come to know the exact reasons in a day or two. He also asserted that no one is trying to stop the merger process and assured the party cadre that there will be good news for them in a day or two.
Earlier, in the Railway programme, Anwhar Raajhaa dedicated a slew of facilities in the Madurai Division, including the doubling of railway line between Manapparai and Kalpattichatram section for a distance of 23 km, five limited use subways in lieu of LC gates and three foot over bridges at Sholavandan, Ambaturai and Samayanallur stations. Dindigul MP M Udayakumar took part in the function.
