AIADMK (Puratchi Thalaivi Amma) leader Panneerselvam, Health Minister C Vijaya Baskar of the camp led by Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami and Senthil Balaji, a loyalist of ‘sidelined’ party deputy general secretary TTV Dinakaran, were seen talking to each other in the departure lounge.
Asked about the meeting, Panneerselvam later said, “It just occurred accidentally.”
    ‘DMK, govt hand in glove’
Meanwhile, speaking at a public meeting in Sivakasi, OPS alleged that the DMK had joined hands with the ruling faction. He wondered why DMK leader Duraimurugan had to respond instead of the state government, when he announced an agitation on August 10 to condemn the short supply of drinking water and spread of dengue in the state.
He said that this showed that the DMK had joined hands with the state government and is working against the interests of the people. He also accused DMK of not raising pertaining issues in the Assembly against the government. “Instead, the party frequently walked out just to grab attention,” he added.
