Look out notice issued, Karti Chidambaram moves HC to quash it
The Enforcement Directorate and the CBI has issued a look out notice against Karti P Chidambaram in the case relating to the alleged irregularities in obtaining Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) clearances to INX Media and he has moved a petition in the Madras High Court seeking to quash the same.

When the plea came up for hearing, the court adjourned it to August seven after seeking more clarifications from the Union Home Ministry.
Karti, in a series of tweets, said ''For all those "looking out for me":) and posted several photos confirming that he was very much at his residence in Sivaganga.
In the photos Karti Chidambaram was seen holding talks with leaders of Sivaganga District unit of the Congress and greeting its Chief on his birthday.
Sources said the look out notice was issued after Karti did not appear before the investigation in the case, despite the CBI issuing summons against him, and allegedly to prevent him from travelling abroad.
Karti had challenged the summons issued to him by the CBI on July 19 in the Madras High Court.
According to the CBI, a firm "indirectly controlled" by Karti had received money from the media house, run by Indrani and Peter Mukerjea.
The agency had earlier issued summons to Karti and four others for questioning on June 27 and June 29, but Karti, had sought more time.
The CBI had registered a FIR against Karti and INX Media along with eight others for alleged irregularities in granting FIPB clearance to the media house for Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in 2007.
In May, CBI conducted raids on the residential and business premises of Karti in Chennai in connection with the case.
Following the raids, Mr Chidambaram accused the Centre of targetting his son to silence his voice.
