Three die of dengue and A (H1N1) at Coimbatore
The figures going up every day is becoming a cause for concern for the public, health authorities,district administration and local bodies.

Three persons undergoing treatment for dengue and A(H1N1) died at the Coimbatore Medical College and Hospital(CMCH) on Wednesday.
Hospital sources said that a total of 241 persons were being treated at the CMCH.
This included 50 who were undergoing treatment for dengue. The figures going up every day is becoming a cause for concern for the public, health authorities,district administration and local bodies.
Among the three patients who died on Wednesday two had suffered from dengue. One was P Nishanthi a four-year-old girl from Vettaikaranpudur,in Pollachi. It is learnt that the girl was admitted at theCMCH on July 29 and was under treatment till she died early on Wednesday.
The second victim was D Shanthamani (44), of SS Kulam in Coimbatore, who was also admitted for dengue on July 29.

Sathish Kumar Singh (32)of Veerapandi area in Tirupur died of A (H1N1). It is learnt that he was admitted in a private hospital at Tirupur and shifted to a private hospital in Coimbatore a few days ago, where he tested positive for A (H1N1). Since his condition was deteriorating he was shifted to the CMCH on Tuesday. But he died on Wednesday.
