Man beats wife and daughter to death at Krishnagiri

The police said that the incident took place following the man’s bid to rape his daughter on Tuesday. Police identified the victims as S Kumutha (34) and her daughter S Sakunthala (15). 

Kumutha was an anganwadi worker and her daughter was studying in Cass 10 in a government school in the vicinity. S Seshadri (38), the accused, was a driver. 

The police said that when the incident took place, Kumutha heard her daughter’s cry for help, she was shocked to see her husband try to rape the teenager in an inebriated condition. Kumutha tried to rescue, he started attacking his wife and daughter with a wet-grinder stone.
