Man held for assaulting schoolboy, father

According to sources, S John (9) of Sathanur village studying in Panchayat Union Middle School was easing himself near his school on Monday afternoon. At that time, S Inbarasan (35), J Thirumurthy and two others, all caste-Hindus assaulted John and abused him using his caste name. When John informed his father K Sankar (35), he chastised Inbarasan for assaulting John. Following this, Inbarasan and his associates assaulted Sankar who lodged a complaint with Tiruneelakudi police. The police registered a case on Wednesday against Inbarasan and three others under various sections Inbarasan was arrested and the police are on the lookout for others.
