Muralidhar Rao calls DMK a corrupt party

He reached Rameswaram via Madurai and had gone to the Ramanathaswamy Temple along with his family. He offered special prayers in the temple. Coming out of the temple, he said, he has prayed for the welfare of the entire country and for the victory of NDA’s Presidential candidate Ram Nath Kovind. 

When asked about DMK’s attack on AIADMK supporting BJP in the Presidential election, he replied that that the DMK has lost its relevance in the state and is a dead party. 

“The DMK and its working president MK Stalin are for cow slaughter, whereas the BJP is for protection of cows. It is up to the people of Tamil Nadu to decide whom they want to support,” he said. 

The BJP’s National Secretary also said that the DMK was a corrupt party and during its tenure many scams like 2G, Telecom, Coal and so on had happened. 

“The corrupt DMK has no moral rights to criticise the BJP, which is strictly against corruption,” he said and added, “Prime Minister Modi is taking proactive steps to contain corruption.”
