TN School Education: Subject-wise score for class 12 reduces to 100 marks

In yet another attempt to reform the education system in Tamil nadu, school education department is planning to make changes in the marking system for class 12 board examination. Instead of the 200 marks, the students will have to write the examination for 100 marks.

Also the time duration for writing examination will be reduced to two-and-a-half hours instead of three hours earlier.

Recently the higher education department announced that class 11 will also be a board exam. According to sources, the class 12 marksheet will be a consolidation of class 11 and class 12 marks, where marks of both the board examination will be considered. The Government Order on the same is likely to come soon.
