Duraimurugan slams CM over remarks on M Karunanidhi
Taking exception to the views allegedly maligning the reputation of the DMK president M Karunanidhi being hosted on the government website, the DMK leader Duraimurugan slammed Chief Minister Edappadi K Palanisamy for using the government machinery for the party’s purpose.

Calling the attempt as a cheap political tactics employed by EPS to cover up the prevalent corruption in his regime, Duraimurgan condemned EPS for the derogatory remarks and masking his corrupt ways with MGR’s legacy. The disputed text quoted former CM and AIADMK founder MGR saying that the values of integrity, virtue, obligation, dignity, and discipline were not practised by Karunanidhi in the latter’s regime. It figured in a press release issued by the government, and is hosted in the press release section of the govt website.
