AIADMK (A) threatens to release Jayalalithaa hospital pics

Karnataka state secretary of AIADMK (Amma) Pugazhendi said that he would release the photos of former chief minister J Jayalalithaa taken while availing of treatment at the Apollo Hospital at the appropriate time. He threatened that once the photos were out, the masks of many people, who are ‘playing’ politics with her death, would be torn.

Taking part in a protest staged in support of the faction’s deputy general secretary TTV Dinakaran in Madurai on Wednesday, he claimed that Dinakaran was a victim of political vendetta and the cases filed against him by the Delhi police were false.

He further said that if not for VK Sasikala, the faction’s general secretary and Dinakaran, the rule of AIADMK in the state would have come to an end.

“The state and party would have descended into chaos. But the party has sidelined them now by removing her banners from the headquarters.

Those responsible for the action will soon be sent out of the party,” he thundered at the protest meet.

He added that Sasikala was a close friend and like a sister to Jayalalithaa. She served her for nearly 33 years and Dinakaran was assisting her ably during the period. “Even when former chief minister O Panneerselvam parted ways creating a crisis for the party and government, Dinakaran helped Edappadi Palanisamy to effectively prove his majority in the Assembly,” he said.

Expressing concern over the burglary attempt at Kodanad estate and subsequent deaths, Pugazhendi said, “God (Jayalalithaa) lived there and that God will punish the trespassers.”
