Stalin dares state to hold civic polls
DMK working president MK Stalin quipped that the AIADMK has split in to two groups namely FERA (Foreign Exchange Regulation Act) faction and ‘sand mafia’ faction. “Both the groups are fighting the RK Nagar by-election and their defeat is certain. They will lose their deposits as the voters have been waiting to teach them a lesson,” he said in Pudukottai on Thursday.

Speaking at a wedding ceremony, Stalin said both the FERA and sand mafia factions were known for looting the state when they were together.
“They hid the truth behind former chief minister J Jayalalithaa’s death. They have been separated not for the good of the people but in an ego clash on who should be the chief minister,” he said.
He charged the state of shying away from conducting civic body polls fearing defeat.
“RK Nagar by-election will teach, not only both the factions a lesson but, all those who are corrupt,” Stalin said and added that DMK would create history by winning the by-poll.
