CM gives solatium to kin of four girls
Chief Minister Edappadi K Palanisamy ordered payment of Rs 3 lakh each as solatium to the next of kin of the four students of the Ayyappa Women’s College. The students died in a road accident on Friday in Kanniyakumari, a release said.

He also ordered payment of Rs 50,000 to those who sustained major injuries in the road accident. Those with minor injuries were paid Rs 25,000, the release added.
Similarly, the Chief Minister ordered payment of Rs 1 lakh each to the next of kin of twenty persons who were killed in various accidents all over the state from the chief minister’s relief fund, the release said.
