Actor molestation case accused brought to Kovai

Escorted by Kerala police, the duo Sunil Kumar alias Pulsar Sunil and Vigeesh were brought to the house at Sri Ram Nagar in Varadharajapuram near Singanallur, where they were reportedly hiding before they were arrested on February 22. 

The police recovered a smartphone, a laptop and a T-shirt belonging to Sunil. The items were sent for forensic analysis. 

A police officer who escorted the accused, claimed both the accused were hiding in a rented house owned by Vigeesh’s friend Charlie (32), who works as an electrician. 

The police led by Deputy Superintendent of Police (Aluva) Babukumar and Angamali inspector Mohammed Riaz brought the accused to Charlie’s house around 7.30 am. The police quizzed Charlie’s roommate and colleague Antony Selvam (25) of Dindigul. A search is on for Charlie who is currently on the run.
