Moopanar, Kamaraj in TMC’s new flag
TMC president G K Vasan here on Tuesday claimed that his party took a wrong decision on alliance during the Assembly polls.

Addressing the state executive meeting, where he introduced a new flag for the party, the TMC leader said that his party has a clean image among the masses and a stable position in the state’s political arena.
Though we had never been in power in the state, the TMC will become a ruling party in near future, Vasan expressed confidence in his address.
Claiming that respecting rival party members and the clean image of its leaders among the public as the TMC’s unique traits, he said the party had the support of the people and was gradually gaining ground in the state.
He released a new flag of TMC that had the colours of the national flag with the images of former Chief Minister K Kamaraj and late leader G K Moopanar in the middle.
Stating that though the TMC was just two years old, the former Union Minister of Shipping said that his party and the cadre have overcome a lot of challenges, victory and defeats through their political journey. He also thanked the cadre for being with the party all through the hardships. The state executive committee meeting of the party saw as many as 12 resolutions being passed including one condoling the death of former Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, and noted journalist Cho Ramaswamy.
