In a separate petition to the Tiruchengode Town Police, AIADMK’s former Tiruchengode Town Secretary KR Madeswaran alleged that Tiruchengode MLA Pon Saraswathai went to the party head office in Chennai on February 5 and has not returned. She was accompanied by Namakkal MLA KPP Baskar and Senthamangalam MLA C Chandrasekaran.
The petitioners alleged that they have been forcibly kept under custody by Komarapalayam MLA and Electricity Minister P Thangamani. They made an appeal to the police to help their MLAs return home safely so that they could function independently. It is worth mentioning that AIADMK cadre in Coimbatore and Salem has submitted similar petitions on Friday.
