Deepa’s tour date yet to be announced

Jayalalithaa niece’s decision on her political debut would be announced on February 24 (Jayalalithaa’s birthday), he reiterated. 

On Thursday, supporters from Vellore, Tiruchy, Sirkali and other areas congregated in front of Deepa’s residence and in Deepa’s absence met her husband. “In areas like Gudiyattam, Natrampalli and locations in Vellore district, people are eager to sign petitions announcing their support for her,” said Palani a laywer who now is collecting signatures as a self-appointed peravai convenor. People are being asked to drop their suggestion in a box kept in front of her house. 

Asked when Deepa would finalise her proposed tour of the districts, Madhavan said “it will be decided in a day or two.”
