Retired air force official R P Dolly and engineer Vinay Kabir managed to land the copter safely near the forest. As there was no sign of weather returning to normalcy in Hosur, the helicopter was parked at the same spot for one more than a day that is on Thursday. Later, fuel was brought from Bengaluru to fly the copter back. Once conditions improved, the chopper lifted off and left for Karnataka. After news about the chopper in the forest spread like wildfire in the region, there was a steady stream of visitors from nearby villages to see the aircraft.
