Tamil Nadu thrashes Mumbai
N Niranjana (58), S Anusha (64 & 3/16) and Eloksi Arun (3/11) came up with useful contributions as Tamil Nadu inflicted a 115-run defeat on Mumbai in the BCCI Senior Women Elite ‘B’ One-Day duel at the BKC Ground in Mumbai on Sunday.

Asked to bat first, Niranjana and Anusha helped Tamil Nadu post a decent total of 202. While the former’s 76-ball innings was laced with nine fours, the latter’s 94-ball knock was studded with six fours and two maximums. Sayali Satghare (4/27) was Mumbai’s best bowler, taking four wickets. Chasing just over four runs per over, Mumbai was bowled out for a paltry 87, with Anusha and Eloksi delivering with the ball for Tamil Nadu.
