    Ashutosh Sharma (103) and Nikhil Mishra (104 batting) struck centuries to put Madhya Pradesh in the driver’s seat against Tamil Nadu after second day’s play in the Colonel CK Nayudu Trophy Under-23 Elite ‘B’ four-day duel at the Salem Cricket Foundation Ground in Salem.

     In reply to Tamil Nadu’s first innings total of 250, Madhya Pradesh, resuming on its overnight score of 61 without loss, ended Day Two at 371 for eight with a 121-run lead. Ashutosh and Nikhil combined for 207 runs between them. While the former’s 88-ball innings was laced with six maximums and 12 fours, the latter’s unbeaten knock included two sixes and eight fours.
