Jyotsnil Singh (119 batting) smashed a century as Baroda dominated third day’s play against Tamil Nadu in the Colonel CK Nayudu Trophy Under-23 Elite B four-day duel at the CDCA – Sri Ramakrishna Institutions Ground in Coimbatore. Holding a 55-run advantage after the opening exchanges, the away side was 207 for three in the second innings at stumps. Opener Jyotsnil, who is unbeaten on 119, struck 13 fours and a maximum during his 243-ball stay on Day Three.
Earlier, Tamil Nadu, continuing on its overnight score of 224 for five, surrendered meekly. It lost five wickets for just eight runs to get all out for 232 in the first innings.
