Meanwhile, Ashish Nehra who had joined the franchise as a bowling mentor last year will continue with his job. On the other hand, it has been reported that India’s batting coach Sanjay Bangar is on the radar of the franchise.
However, as per the conflict of the clause of the Committee of Administrators, Bangar cannot join hands with RCB till the time he is with the senior Indian team.
Meanwhile, India’s former coach Gary Kirsten who led India to the World Cup glory can take over the bridle of the head coach for the RCB.
Royal Challengers Bangalore is owned by Diageo and these team management changes are on the cards.
Furthermore, there will be a change in the administrative department, with Sanjeev Churiwala replacing previous boss Amrit Thomas.
Meanwhile, the red brigade is yet to win the IPL trophy even after having star-studded players. Virat Kohli led team had made it to the final of the tournament in 2016 in which itlost against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
In fact, it is not only Royal Challengers Bangalore who is contemplating changing its think tank.Â
Kings XI Punjab head coach Brad Hodge can be also shown the exit door.
RCB had failed to make the qualifiers in the eleventh season of the IPL as it won only six games. Thus, it has been a sad story for the Bangalore franchise so far in the Twenty20 tournament.
Daniel Vettori was former RCB player till 2013. He passed on the captaincy baton to Virat Kohli and has been the head coach since then.
