Local League: Nethra guides Rangers to victory

Yogiyasri remained not out on 71 and helped Avengers reach 123 for 20 in its 20 overs. Rangers cruised to the target in 18 overs courtesy Nethra’s match-winning knock.

IOC Mumbai clinched the 49th All-India YSCA Trophy as it defeated AG’s Office by 18 runs in the final at the MA Chidambaram Stadium here on Sunday.

After being to put into bat on a slow turner at the Chepauk, IOC posted 17 for seven with Siddesh Lad top-scoring with 42 runs. K Vignesh was the pick of the bowlers for AG’s with three wickets for 16 runs. The winner skittled out AG’s Office for 119 and bagged the trophy.
