    All-India YSCA cricket tourney from May 1 
    The 49th edition of the All India YSCA Trophy Cricket Tournament will be held from May 1.
    Mumbai teams BPCL, IOC and Indian Navy, Vijaya Bank, Kerala State Cricket Association are among the outstation teams participating in the tournament. “We have made provision for five more outstation teams,” said Gurumurthy, the organiser of the tournament. In all, there will be 56 entries for the tournament. Chennai Customs, Nelson SC, AGs Office, Loyola College, Guru Nanak College, SRM, RKM Vivekananda College, St Bedes, Santhome HSS and St Patricks are some of the prominent city teams in the fray. It will be ä knockout tournament up to the quarterfinal. The final will be played at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on June 24. IOC is the defending Champion and BPCL the runner-up. There will be ä super league at the quarter-final stage.
