Chennai Customs posts easy win in the CFA Senior Division League
Chennai Customs eased to a 3-1 win over RBI in the CFA Senior Division League at the Nehru Stadium here on Sunday. Dhilipan gave his team an early lead in the third minute but it was cancelled out by Kirubanandan in the 36th minute.

With 10 minutes remaining in the second-half, Customs’ Vijay scored to give his team a 2-1 lead. Five minutes later, Alaaks Kuttan added another to put the match beyond RBI’s reach. In the second match, Hindustan Eagles FC slammed six goals against Southern Railway to win by a 6-3 margin. Eagles’ Cletus Paul scored a hat-trick and was deservedly adjudged the man of the match award.
RESULTS: Chennai Customs 3 (Dhilipan 3, Vijay 79, Alaaks Kuttan 84) bt RBI 1 (Kirubanandan 36); Hindustan Eagles 6 (Cletus Paul 30, 70, 74; Nishok 13, Raja Pandy 40, Franco 65) bt Southern Railway 3 (Sharath 16, Shirubin 41, Elamurugan 51).
