Ramalakshmi finishes first in 100 metres

In the Girls (Under-20) 400 metres event, V Subha of Aries Athletic won the race comfortably, achieving the distance in 57.16 seconds. Just 55 milliseconds separated Roshini and Kiruba who finished second and third respectively. 

Mugesh Kumar bagged the first place in the Boys Under-18 110 metres hurdles, which turned out to be a close contest. He managed to cross the finish line at 15.95 seconds. He was followed by V Ravishankar and R Nithish Kumar for the second and third spots. 

Gavrav Yadav was crowned champion in the 1500 metres for Under-20 boys as he clocked a time of 4:17.4 seconds. Selvakumar and Arun completed the podium with timings of 4:20.3 seconds and 4:22.00 seconds respectively.
