STC controlled the game throughout, clinching the game in straight sets. In another match, Jamal (Trichy) setup an easy win against Loyola with a scoreline of 25-22, 25-15, 25-18. St Joseph’s and Sathyabama also came up trumps against Panimalar and DG Vaishnav respectively.
In the women’s category, Jeppiaar enjoyed a comfortable win against IIT Madras. It won 25-4, 25-5, 25-4.
