TN women lose to Hyderabad in the BCCI U-23 South Zone one-day tournament
Hyderabad U-23 women’s team earned a 21-run win over Tamil Nadu in the BCCI U-23 South Zone one-day tournament on Thursday.

Opting to bat first, host Hyderabad scored 186 for nine. Opener and skipper Ramya led the way from the front scoring 80 (120b, 8x4) and added a crucial 101 runs for the second wicket with Sneha More 52 (78b, 5x4). Tamil Nadu captain D Hemalatha picked three wickets for 39 runs. In reply, TN lost wickets at regular intervals and fell short by 21 runs. Hemalatha was the highest scorer with 49 while L Nethra contributed 45. Hyderabad’s Rachna S Kumar was the pick of the bowlers taking three for 28.
