At stumps on day two, the visitor was 131 for two in reply to TN’s mammoth score of 600 for four declared. Pradosh has been in stupendous form throughout this competition as he scored 796 runs in six matches studded with three hundreds.
His knock of 229 came off only 242 balls and consisted of 28 fours and one six. Pradosh added 179 runs for the unbroken fifth wicket with R Sonu Yadav 69 not out (65b, 9x4, 1x6) in 22.4 overs.
