Tamil Nadu to meet Karnataka in final
Host Tamil Nadu defeated Andhra Pradesh 29-7 in the semi-finals of the All India Postal Kabaddi Tournament at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on Thursday.

TN will meet Karnataka in the final on Friday. Karnataka beat Maharashtra 37-33 in the second semi-final.
Results: Karnataka defeated Andhra Pradesh, score - 07/30 (Group - ‘B’). Gujarat defeated West Bengal, score - 36/11 (Group - ‘A’). Kerala defeated Telangana, score - 23/22 (Group - ‘B’). Tamil Nadu defeated Gujarat, score - 51/18 (Group - ‘A’). Kerala defeated Punjab, score - 39/16 (Group - ‘B’) Maharastra defeated Uttar Pradesh, score - 23/17 (Group - ‘A’).
DB Jain, Bharath University win Â
DB Jain College of Arts and Science and Bharath University scrapped to narrow victories in the Reliance Foundation Youth Sports football tournament in Chennai on Thursday. DB Jain beat SSN Engineering 1-0 while Bharath University had to dig deep to overcome a spirited fight by the Louis Institute for the Deaf 2-1. DB Jain cantered home through a 6th minute goal by Christiana Elwin. Ratham put Bharath University in the lead in the 19th minute. The Louis Boys equalised early in the second half, in the 32nd minute but missed a couple of chances to squander a good opportunity. Rather eventually found the winner in the 52nd min. In another match, JNN Institute of Engineering tamed Mar Gregorios College of Arts and Science 2-0. R Ganesh (21st) and Jawahar (7) were the goal-scorers for the winners.Â
