Basketball: Indian Overseas Bank champion
Indian Overseas Bank, Chennai won the All India Basketball Tournament for PSG Trophy at the PSG Tech Indoor Sports Complex here on Thursday. Indian Overseas Bank beat Indian Army in the final 77-59.

Earlier, Vijaya Bank and Punjab Police vied for securing the third and fourth places. Â
Punjab Police secured the third place as it defeated Vijaya Bank 95-72. Ranbir Singh 23, Gurjinder Singh 21 and Guruvinder Gill 18 were the main scorers for the winners while for Vijaya Bank Anil Kumar 25, Roby Thomas 11, Rajesh Uppar 10 scored.Â
A cash prize of Rs one lakh and the PSG Rolling Trophy was awarded to winners IOB and Rs. 50,000 was given to the runner-up Indian Army. Â
Punjab Police which was placed third received Rs. 25,000 while the fourth placed Vijaya Bank received Rs. 15,000. The best player award Rs.10, 000 was given to Vicky Hooda of Indian Army.Â
