Jain University, Bengaluru, had mixed luck in the South Zone Inter College Basketball Tournament at Thoothukudi on Wednesday as their men won one of the two matches they played and their women won the only match they played.

Jain University men lost to Madras Christian College (MCC) in the first match 50-64. In their second match against Sathyabhama University they won 50-40. Their women beat MOP Vaishnav College 51-43.Â
In another men’s match, Jeppiar Institute of Technology defeated Loyola College 78-59 and Madras Christian College (MCC) defeated SRM University 68-42. Hindustan University beat PSNA College, Dindigul 67-63 also in the men’s section and in the women’s section PSG college of Arts and Science lost to Jeppiar Institute of Technology 39-40.Â
