The Kiwis, which are already one down in the 3-Test series after a defeat in the first Test in Kanpur, received another blow when their skipper Kane Williamson has been ruled out because of an illness. Williamson has been suffering from fever and stomach upset bug since September 29.

India made two changes bringing in top order batsman Shikhar Dhawan in place of injured KL Rahul and pacer Bhuwaneswar Kumar replacing Umesh Yadav.
